AI Literacy for Educators 
 

There is a need for more resources and support for educators to use AI Tools for productivity, especially concerning curriculum rewrites, the integration of new standards, and the intrinsic demand to prepare students for future challenges and opportunities.

These resources and supports must be practical, and honor the time constraints that each of us battle against. T.E.A.C.H. recognizes the importance of providing a platform for teachers to learn and utilize AI tools efficiently and effectively. VSTE has worked with T.E.A.C.H. to design a learning experience that allows educators to start where they are to grow their knowledge and skills while constructing artifacts that are meaningful, purposeful, and relevant to the needs of each participant. 

The 5-Module Approach to AI Literacy moves the participant through hands-on practice and application of the tools through unit and lesson development toward assessments and analytics.

 

5 Module Approach to AI Literacy for Educators 

• Introduction to AI Tools and Trends
• Development of Standards-Based Units of Study
• Personalization of Lesson Plans
• Designing Formative and Summative Assessment 
• Analyzing Performance Data
